Exploring Palmetto Bluff and Beyond
Palmetto Bluff is the kind of place where old Southern charm meets the beauty, serenity, and adventures of nature. While the developments are often dubbed upscale and sophisticated, with ancestral families that date back through centuries, the nature of Palmetto Bluff features 32 miles of beautiful coastlines with salt marshes, meadows of untamed grass, and surrounding forests.
It’s not unusual to find folks seated on their front porch at sunset, glass of sweet tea or homemade lemonade in hand. Plus, when the sun dips, the frogs, cicadas, and crickets start their symphony, complete with fireflies to light up the night. Palmetto Bluff can be magical.

★★★★★ “This was our (kids’) second summer doing SUP paddleboards with Outside Hilton Head. Our instructors provided us with a primer on how to get started, while learning the kids’ names, interests, and abilities. They provide each kid with tips and tricks to make the experience memorable and special. Great prices too for a two-hour paddleboard session! My daughter wants to purchase paddleboards now for when we get back to Florida.” – Tarisse S. from Miami, Florida
